Cedric Dumas is an expert in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Extended Reality, which involve the study of how humans interact with complex systems ranging from computers to robots to medical devices. His research focuses on the design of virtual reality environments to simulate and train users. His research is aiming to improve our understanding of the training process for team work and medical skills, including all the perceptual and motor skills dimensions, in order to translate these issues in physician-centered training simulators.
