Qinqing (Christine) Zhang is Director & Chief Research Scientist at Peraton Labs, with over 25 years of experience in applied research and advanced technology development. She began her career at Bell Labs and subsequently held technical leadership and management positions at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) and United Technologies Research Center (UTRC). Christine has served as principal investigator on more than 15 research programs sponsored by U.S. government agencies. Her expertise spans 5G/NextG wireless communication systems, emerging communication networks, cyber analytics, software assurance, and critical infrastructure protection. She is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, one book, three book chapters, and holds 30 patents.Christine received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, and her B.S.E. and M.S.E.E. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
